This home is part of a 312 acre farm bought in 1978 by Joseph C Hayes. The family still owns it. This farm was owned by 9 different families before 1905. In 1905 the property was purchased by an Ed Thorsen and his family owned it until 1953 when they sold it to Raymond Schroer. The Schroer's owned this land until 1959 when they sold it to Floyd Schooley. The Schooley family owned the farm until they sold it on land contract to our family in 1978.—Mrs. D. Hayes
