This originally a 3 room house sitting about 1/4 mile east of its present location. We always heard the family story that my grandparents, P.M. and Mettie Klinefelter started married life in this 3 room house on 40 acres. Sometime after they built the big house, this was moved down to the corner. It has been expanded at least 3 times.
