This is looking south from North Avenue. St Charles Road in the Background, Gary Avenue to the left (not in photo). You can see the ComEd Towers along what is today the Great Western Bike Trail. Gala Bowling Alley (and now a gas station) would be in the foreground.

The farm was known as the Clarence Modaff Farm.

By 1983, most of the buildings remained, but they would not survive the 1980s. All buildings were gone by 1988, replaced with commercial real estate development.
