This is the Marbold Farmstead. Carl Miller owned this farm at the time of the photo. This farmstead was est. in 1851 by a German immigrant, John H. Marbold and with his son H.H. Marbold they created a successful and large farming operation. A nonprofit organization is working to create a living history farm here. The barns no longer stand. The outbuildings are mostly gone. We are working to rebuild and restore this once grand site.
