Oliver and Hazel Monson farm(1919) August and Flora Belle Fleharty Monson(1882)

Remaining buildings in this photo are the house, granary, corn crib and barn. Missing are the carriage house and three chicken houses and the only original building left today is the house. The garden was to the right of the house and ran from the smaller dark bushes to the fence in the lower center part of this photo. The orchard ran from the garden along the same fence and ended at the back fence. There were no corn fields behind or to the left of the barn. It was all pasture. The division separating the corn fields at the top of the photo are the CB&Q railroad tracks.
