The church belonged to the Henning Church of Christ, where my family belonged for many years. The building across the street from it was the Henning Primary Building, formerly the Henning Grade School. I went to kindergarten, first, second and third grades there. When I was a senior in high school, it was torn down and the schoolyard turned into a town park.
