I purchased the house in 2002 from the Scott-Newsom family. It had been in their family for over 100 years. This house was built in 1964 and added onto in 1990/1?. The large pine tree closer to the house fell during a storm in late 2001 right before I purchased the property. The large pine next to the road is still there in 2014. The other large trees near the road were not there and the open space to the north (left) is a detached garage (1992?) and more trees (2 apple, 2 pear, 2 peach, 1 cherry, and white dogwood). I cut down the large maple tree about 2004/5? to the north (left) as it overhung the garage and the orchard. I'm guessing that is a gas pump between the maple and the row of shrubs. The school to the south (right) burned in 2008 and was torn down in 2013.
