This home was built around 1860 by Michael Brand and his wife Eliza. It's hard to tell by this photo, but the house sits atop a hill and has a gorgeous view of the surrounding farm land. The house was passed to their daughter Dora, then to her daughter thereafter. It remained in the family for over 100 years. The large bank barn has had a great deal of restoration work performed. The house has been beautifully maintained. It's a very special place.
