This is the 'Home Place' of Carl and Helen McKinsey. They were living here at this time, the new pad of cement is in front of the new 2-car garage that Grandpa had built behind the house. This is the 'Home Place' because it was the 40-acres owned by my Great-Grandparents, Lloyd and Della McKinsey where I remember helping Great-Grandpa pump water for the horse tank to the left of the main barn, obscured by the trees. When they lived there, the white board fence was a split-rail fence from poles from IN Bell, where 3 of my Great Uncles worked.
