This is the original Wright family farm, first purchased by my family in 1831 and occupied by various family members ever since. The house was built in the 1860s, replacing a log cabin that was farther down the hill next to the spring house. The original barn burnt in the 20s and the existing barn was rebuilt on its foundation around 1928. This photo was taken the year after my parents, Mark and Mary Wright, moved in and have lived ever since.
