This is the farm my parents bought in 1961, and is still in the family. The picture was taken in 1973, the last year my father actively farmed, quitting due to deteriorating health. He raised registered Hereford cattle, corn, beans, hay, Shetland ponies, and horses, with the help of myself and 4 brothers. The house was built just before the Civil War.
