Ruth & John McDaniel Farm

I GREW UP HERE. MY FATHER BUILT THE HOUSE WHEN I WAS 12 YEARS OLD.

I think the house was built in 1949
Dad died in 1973
Mother is now in the nursing home .
The place was sold May of 2013

The small building to the right of the drive way was the original train depor station from Metamora, Indiana that sat next to the railroad tracks down by the Mill. They gave it to John McDaniel and he kept fire wood in it. My father John Jared Miller proposed to my Mom, Donna McDaniel when she went out to get fire wood in November of 1972. They were married in February 1973.
