Home of Arnold and Eva Fleetwood and their Grocery Store/ Gas Station, in Kurtz, In.

You can see the corner of my great-grandmothers house. I grew up in Kurtz. We had a very good childhood there. In the summer afternoons a bunch of us kids would go down to the creek and swim, than after supper we go over to the church yard and play baseball and cops & robbers and all the other games we would play. Wish the kids now a days could grow up like we did.

I Have many great memories growing up in Kurtz everybody looked out for each other love that small town

I used to go there and buy a bottle of pop from their old fashioned wet chiller pop machine that cooled the bottles in cold water. That was awesome on a hot day. Just 15 cents too!

I sure miss that old House in Kurtz. Such great memories growing up in such a wonderful place. Miss my Grandparents every day. Harry Stillwell own and worked the store until Feb 1961.
