Corner Store is still in business today!
My Dad George A. Shepherd and Mom Evelyn A. Shepherd owned this back in the 1950 and 1960 There use to be a Big house that we moved into when I was about 7 or 8 years old and three little apartments size houses behind it back then we lived in the big house and just used the little ones for storage. My dad use to work on all kinds of things cars, trucks, tractors. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix in the garage and my mom ran the store and gas pumps. The house and the little building all burned down in the late 60's and we moved a trailer behind the store and lived there until the early 70's then dad sold it to a couple of men from Ohio and we moved.
My Mother and Sister live close to there . Been there many times. I went to school with Anna Marie Shepard . I once rode my bike from Paris Crossing to buy Cokes on Sunday .
This so cool! I've been going to the corner store all my life! Arley Blair was the first owner I remember! LOL I know there have been several owners over the years. Madge I don't remember your family owning it. Guess I was too young then! LOL
