My husband, Larry Monroe, bought this property in 1965. The house, barn and smaller building and the property across from the house. (The long barns in the upper left are the neighbors.) I moved there in 1967 and we raised 6 children on the farm. The property was divided in 2003 and I still live on a 4 acre piece to the east of this picture.
