I believe this was a church and pastor's home at the corner of New and Pine Roads.
This is the Star Wesleyan Methodist Church and parsonage at the southwest corner of New & Pine Rd.which is now in the Potato Creek State Park. The parsonage was moved but the church was torn down. My family attended this church for many years and have many good memories!!
My father , Rev. George Russell, pastored this church from 1952 to 1955. We made many wonderfull friends in that community.
I graduated from North Liberty in 1954.. I will not be able to attend our 60th class reunion due to the high school graduation of our great grandson
Greetings to all my classmates, I hope you will post plctures from the celebrations
The South Bend Tribune issue of June 5, 1977 mentions that this church was "...relocated to Ardmore, [and] is now known as Ardmore Wesleyan Church.". This was done in order to create Potato Creek State Park.
