kenton becker farm

My Mother, Johanna Christen and her husband Gustav Hanke bought this 120 acre farm in 1946. Sadly he drowned in an ice fishing accident in 1950. My Mother met my Father and they were married in 1951. I was raised in this home and my Father owned this farm until 2006. I still own the North 40 acres of this farm and my nephew Gary Hanna owns the house and 80 acres. This home has 5 bedrooms and has beautiful hardwood flooring throughout. Mr Hanke installed the hardwood flooring. Sadly the shed on the right side of the barn is gone and the barn is in terrible shape. This was a wonderful family home and I have many great memories here.

If this was taken in 1948, it was owned by Gustav Hanke and Johanna Christen Hanke at that time.

Just saw the date of this picture, 1968, makes more sense as the shed was not there in 1948. It was owned by Kenton Becker and Johanna Christen Hanke Becker at that time.
