my name is Jeff McClellan and i grew up here. my mother and father along with my three older siblings moved here from Montana in 1945. dad purchased the first 160 acres, all on the south side of the road, from a man named Arter, don't know a first name. dad bought the 160 acres on the north side in i think 1963. dad passed in 1975 and the estate sale resulted in the barn, corn crib and a couple other buildings being removed but the land stayed with the family. mother still lived here at the time of this photo and till she passed in 1998.
