We purchased this house last year. The property is now much smaller, only about 1 acre. The only building that remains (besides the home) is the shed next to LP tank. All other buildings in the distance have been torn down and converted into fields again. At the end of the drive there is now a garage as well. The row trees on the right side, the tree behind the house and the tree in the left corner next to the windmill still remain. The windmill and the small building next to it are also still there.
I grew up on this property. My parents purchased it in October of 1969. Shortly after my father returned from Vietnam. They improved this property ten fold from when they purchased it. The building on the far right, and the barn towards the back of the property and the acre or two around it were never included in the original sale. The barns were destroyed in a tornado in 1978 or 1979. Only the acre around the house and trees were included in the original purchase to my parents. Great place to grow up!
