Photo 44-PCE-7

This was home to me all my childhood. Most of the buildings and the houses are gone. But the 135 year old barn is still standing and blue Harvestore' silo is still there. My grandparents bought this farm in 1943. My family sold it in 1990's. Learned a lot on the farm!

Earlier today I was telling my daughter about all the great times I had here on my uncle's farm. Good to be able to show it to her as I remember it. Too bad the picture doesn't include the campground at the river, the creek in the pastures, or The Big Hill where we went sledding. Every kid should be so lucky as to spend time on a farm!
