I live in this town. Sadly I can't get any of the photos in this album to open. I can view the thumbnails but when I click on the pics they won't display. Most of the other albums I had no problem viewing the pics...with the exception of one other album. Love this site. Hope to be able to view more.

Thanks for fixing it! To the front in this shot is the back side of what was Augustine Insurance, and the American Legion building. Across the street is an apartment building, what was I believe the post office, sundries, and feedstore. I really never knew what was in the building with Ladora painted on the roof. I always thought the "Ladora" on the roof pointed the way to an airstrip that was in a field a mile west of town. Again you see the bank building. I encourage all to google Ladora Bank Bistro to see how it is now and how it was. It's been restored well by the current owners.
