This is the homestead of my great grandma. My mom now lives there but the house has been tore down and now a mg. home sits there. This photo is actually hanging in my moms house because my grandma bought it from photographer. I grew up right next to this property.

The property was actually purchased by my grandmother in 1907. My grandfather had passed away so she was forced to sell the larger farm so she purchased this and raised 5 children as a single parent.
The property used to be really rural now it's in the city limits of Marion Iowa.
