This farm has been in my family for 5 generations. We have made various improvements. Barn, house, chicken house, and grain bin still stand.
Fred Hess original farmstead. House was a bought out of a Sears catalog. Apple Orchard on the NW section of the farm, two huge gardens, Dairy cows, chickens, farrow to finish, and very few ever had to wait for the train to get on the school bus at the end of the lane. It was a great life.
