I wrote a song about this place called Martin County Line this is my mothers home place

This is where I grew up at .its not the same anymore .my mom and dad raised 10 kids here. And all the fields around the house was always full of food. my mom and dad and older kids raised. And harvest in the fall. We had cows.pigs.chicken. We never went hungry .i packed water from the creek to help mom wash cloths in our old Wagner washer. We had horse for dad to plaw the fields with.they work from sun up till sun down .and on Sunday we attended church to learn all we could about God.this life on cassady branch on the farm is why I am the person I am today.thanks to my parents Martin and Gertrude smith.they lived on this farm for years.

MY HUSBAND;S HOME PLACE

This was my homeplace,and I sure miss home.

I am the oldest granddaughter, I also grew up in this house this was my Granny and grandpa homestead, I loved this old place and miss it dearly.

Oh how I miss my grandparents and all the memories I have from this place they called home. I canâ™t wait to see them again some day. Love and Light Granny and Grandpa.

This place will never ever be the same everyone except myself that I latter days lived there are all gone now so very sad
