This side of the road was my dads (Evan Parks) potato house. The tiny little "camp" next to the road was a place that potato pickers stayed in during harvest. A large family (10-12) from Prince Edward Island or Nova Scotia (Indian decent) came to work for dad many harvests and stayed there. They were the Denny family. Great people and extremely hard workers. Their uncle came with them and did all the cooking for them! We looked forward to them coming each year.
