Merton Thompson home & Ernest Thompson farm on the left. This home burned & the potato house is gone. Owned by McCains, now. Station Rd., Easton, ME.
The house on the left I grew up in from 1986ish until 2000 when my parents sold it when Mccains built the big freezer in our back yard. Someone set it on fire during the summer of 2001 before I went off to college. I loved this place. The building in the center of the driveway is what I assume was move across the road which was part of Doug Henderson's gas station and long haul company.
This was my home as I grew up and it was sold to the Kirks in 1987 after my father, Ernest Thompson died on 9/10/86. I believe that we moved into that house in 1948. My grandparents lived in the other house and it was built in 1950 the year that my brother Merton was born.
