John Haley's farm. Home is vacant now and barn falling in.

My Grandfather, Charles G McCubrey, owned this farm from the 1930's until roughly 1970 when he retired and sold it to John Haley. My family still owns the adjacent farm to the south of this one. John added a large garage addition on the north side of this house which totally ruined the character of the home.

The Jason Lister Family Purchased this property in 2018. Severe neglect to the main structure led to a huge renovation of the property. The interior of the main house was stripped clear to the original kitchen floor. The kitchen was moved to the new addition living room and the old kitchen was remodeled to an open floor plan Living room. Front and rear walls of the second floor were raised to 8’. Barn was considered unsalvageable by Earth Works LLC in 2020. Potato house had been crushed by snow early in 2015. Restoration to the property continues to this day.
