The house on the right was the parsonage for the Perham Baptist Church when I was a child. The buildings on the left were owned by my piano teacher Emma Dow and her husband, Merle. Merle had a garage. I can remember the old cold-water bath soda cooler he had, and that he made aquariums... we had one at our home. They also owned a world champion Arabian horse, Oran Van Crabbet (the spelling may be off a bit).
Heidi and Dean Plourde now live in the old Parsonage now.
Merle Dow had a blacksmith shop and shoed our horses and ponies. His son Arlen Married Nancy Bull and they now live in Presque Isle
