Parson Road

This was my Grandparents Maurice and Esther Bugbees Homestead...I grew up here...picked fiddleheads along the river, rode the snowmobile across the river out back to Crouseville, learned to drive a car on that long driveway, gardened, which we'd pickle items and store them in the root cellar in front of the house...that place amazed me. I picked worms to fish with off that land, walked to most of my cousins from there, picked clover under the trees for making honey with Grammie, hung clothes to dry next to the big Willow on the left, watched Bear and Moose come up to the big picture window in the back. I watched my Grandpa get Venison from the deer hung in the barn long after the days of owning horses...soooo many amazing memories on this land. GRATEFUL

My sister Janice went to school and was a close friend with one of the Bugbee girls.
