Corner of Main St and Chapman St
Aroostook Trust Co. branch on the opposite corner now Eagle Hill Stamps. Next, former Bell Stead where telephone operators stayed (torn down in this photo) and now is location of Social Security building, Bangor and Aroostook Railroad next building.
The gas station on the corner of Main and Academy, which is across the street from the B&A Office was Carty’s Gulf. It was owned by Carlton Rose and my farther Winston Thomas worked at the station until late 60’s early 70’s.
