Onesime Ouellette homestead. House built with hand hewed logs. Homestead cleared in 1845, by Xavier Ouellette. Home is gone as well as the potato storage and sheds. Barn has been saved and now has a new steel roof. The little building to the right is School No 4, in Cyr Plantation. It is now my home in the summer time. But it no longer looks that way. I have worked on this farm since 1960 when my Father purchased it and I purchased it in 1980. It is for sale now again, time to change hands to a younger person.
