Beleve this is the old Cyr farm Rt one Cyr Plantation run down and abandoned now I believe the big barn and house are still there the trees and barn in the far back are gone
Old homestead built by Joe Lapierre, Jr. Then, inherited by Neil Lapierre. It became the Roger Lapierre homestead. 3 generations. Torn down this year except barn, that maybe be saved, now owned by Gilbert LaJoie.
Barn is now being repaired and saved by Gilbert LaJoie to put in his collection of old tractors. Good thing for Cyr Plantation, as there are not many barns left.
