This is the homestead of Leonard and Emma Gagnon. It is located on Gagnon Road in Upper Frenchville. They were my grand parents. Theresa , one of eleven Gagnon children, is my mother.

I always loved this place!!! To me when Iwas but 19 it was peaceful except when Pepere Gagnon was always joking with me!!!!!!

Great grand Father Donat Gagnon owe the dairy farm. He had 10 children born and raise on the farm. Years later Grand PEPERE Leonard and Emma (Martin) took over with 10 children. They are Jeanne, Claude, Clifford, Pearl, Lillian, Maire Anne, Therese, Anthony, Rita and Benoit. I am CARMEN, the daughter of Jeanne and Valere CHAMBERLAND. Yes lots of memories in that house. The farm was sold many different times since.

Anthony Gagnon, Leonard and Emma son was my grand father.

I missed one young man by the name Jerry. He was the youngest of Leonard Gagnon family

Aline is also one of Leonard and Emma Gagnon daughters. They had 4 boys and 7 daughters who lived at this house.

Across the street from them was Pat and Simone Gagnon use to go there often they were my mom and dads friends Albenie and Edwina Roy Aline was a very good friend of mind also went to school with Benoit good memories

I grew up about 1 mile from the Gagnons. Ben and I were classmates through 8th grade.
We lost tough of each other for many years. 7 years ago we met up after I move in the same complex
as his brother Jerry and he came to visit. We had good times sharing stories of our past years.
Sadly Ben past away 2 years ago

Emma and Leonard were my grandparents. Their daughter Lillian is my mother. I never got to meet Emma and I was just eight when Pepere Gagnon died. Pepere and his second wife Mamie came to visit us in Lewiston a few times but I only got to visit the farm twice before Pepere died. I've been back many times in my adulthood but it's so different than when I was a child.
