I do not remember who owned this place when I was young, but during my 20s it was 'Bert"s Place, then it was called Del's Place and owned by Delsie & Alma Laferrierre. Not sure who owns it now, but the camps are still there.

Currently owned by Bill and Jean Theriault.

If my memory serves me right when I was a kid it was owned by Gonner sandstorm and his wife and son Michael and it was a base for loring soldiers, at that time, this was in the 50s. and then Mr & Mrs Laferrierre both it and then sold to Bert Collins, and then bought by a Mr. Harkwell of New Jersery and is being runned by Bill & Jean Theriault, they do not own this place, they only manage it.I use to live right next to this place

sorry about the spelling, that building is no longer there, it was torn down and rebuild after the Collins sold and Mr Harkwell made it into a lodge, it is now called Long Lake Camps & Lodge. the camps are still there and the side trailer is no longer there,where Mr & Mrs Theriault were renting and then they had a fire and it was destroyed and Mr Harkwell build a home where the Theriaults now live.
