This was my grandparents place, Leonide & Clorinthe Ayotte. They had a general store which, as you can see, was attached to the house. The multiple buildings around were for the potato farm. Leonide was raised in this house and also raised his 7 children here. My father, Lucien, (the oldest son) built a home across the road in 1965 which is where i was raised. The homestead is still owned by members of the family. All buildings were destroyed in the early 80s but my uncle, Leo James Ayotte built a newer home in the same location. The address is 249 Main Street, Saint Agatha, Maine.

I use to ride my bike to the general store - bought a lot of candy there! Wend to school with Fernand, daughter of Leonide.
