I'm not positive, because I can't remember that there were ever that many trees but this looks like Rosaire Chasse's farm. When he was gardening and selling mostly veggies.

I would only have been around 5 yrs old but there are too many familiar aspects in this shot and memories I do have tell me that yes it is.

Right this Rosaire Chasse's place the big house is still up here it's behind all those trees

Thank you. Yes I know the house is still there and looks wonderful. I see it every time I use that road to go to my brothers. Dale is that you that was about 5 'cause that sounds about right. If you look at the top right hand side you can see the tractor in the field.

Yes, That was me. Forgot to put my name in from the excitement of the pic I guess

Is this in St. Agatha on Cleveland Rd? I am trying to find the house I grew up in but I know my parents renovated and added on to the original house in the 80s. Thanks!

I see the vegetable stand by the road and the white gliding swing a little above it along the driveway. I was 15.

This is Cleveland road

Pea Chasse was original owner then Rosaire Chasse till around late 70's??

Rebecca, The Farm was sold in the 70s to a Reverend from Fort Kent. He in turn sold it later to the Roys. I think they had a bisness in Frenchville.....Roys plumbing and Heating??? And yes, the house was extensively renovated by the Roys.

Hey mom, what's the address? I'd love to Google Earth this and see what it looks like now :)

123 Cleveland road

This is where my Dad Albert the youngest child. was born Jan 22 1919! He had a twin sister but she died during childbirth. I remember going to Madawaska with Uncle Rosaire and selling some of those Veggies! I thought the barn was gone in 1965 but I guess not! Many fond memories of that farmstead. And I remember the Trees! So Many!

Was that also the house where Albert Chasse and Anita used to live in the 1950's?

I need 3 farm farther than this one 67-oar-7 on Cleveland rd it's the right road
