This was the Hughes farm and later owned by the Perry family, it was taken by the town for a tax lein and was vacant for many years thru the 1960's before it was purchased by John & Clara Darling and Leslie & Ruth Darling who opened it as
Meadowbrook Camp Ground about 1970.

Christopher L. Mixon owns this campground when his father Tom and Cathy bought it from the Darlings. It has changed a lot since then.
