The photos in this reel before and after have been in Topsham. Is there any chance this is an Esso station that became Cumberland Farms on Main Street, roughly across from the post office? If so, this whole area is under the new Town Hall and Monument place drive.

This is Bert's Service Station on Route 1 in Bath. Previously Bert's Esso, Bert's Exxon, Bert's Irving and now Bert's Valero. Owned and operated originally by Bert Reed. To this day it is still a full service gas station owned by the Reed family.
