This house is on the corner of Rt 209 and Parker Head Road. It is currently undergoing a lot of sprucing up. In the background is the old town hall.

6 Parker Head Road in Phippsburg, Maine. This used to be the old Parsonage for Phippsburg's Congregational Church. All of the land in Phippsburg Center used to belong to James McCobb as part of his so called "1000 acre lot." There is a survey in the late 1840s of the late Mark Langdon Hills estate and it shows the Parsonage lot at that time.

The current owner has done alot of work on saving the barn on the left - now we can tell him when the roof was likely replaced last. A picture is worth a thousand words!

This was my family home from the mid 1970s until the early 2000s.

I remember when the town hall was moved and they had to cut down the big chestnut tree in the bottom right corner of the photo
