This is My Great- Great Aunt's house on Spinney Mill Road. They owned a tide water sawmill on the creek. There is a breakwater from the Kennebec river to the mill pond. You can still see the old wheels of the saw mill at low tide. My Great-great uncle lost his hand in the saw mill. There were buildings all along the South side of the cove. Chubby the horse lived in the barn and cows. To the right of the house in the ell was the summer kitchen to the right of the door.
