To the right is the Curtis Township Hall in the town of Glennie. The building has now been demolished and is no longer there. The area kids used to rollerskate in this building on Friday nights. Catholic Church services were held in the hall before a church was built south of Glennie. The building to the left is the township fire department. A library was located at one time in the hall and later to the rear of the fire department prior to the building of the Curtis Township Library at its current location.
Back in the 80s they used to have dances in the hall.
Margaret, do you have any recollections of this photo?
