This farm was the Alger Baker farm, located west of Jonesville on the north side of US 12 - just across the road from the Grant Salway farm. As a young child in the early 1950's, my mother used to take us out to the Baker's house to buy eggs. I always referred to Mrs. Baker as "the egg lady".
