This house & pole barn replaced the 2 story farm house plus barns and other buildings that were destroyed in the 1965 Palm Sunday tornadoes. It was owned by my father LaVere Townsend; I and my sisters grew up on this farm and it is now owned by one of them-Mrs Carol Jane Inhulsen of Wyandotte, Michigan. It is located on the west side of Waldron Road, just north of Churches Corners (cross roads of Church and Waldron roads).
