West Locke Wesleyan Church

The original church basement/foundation is visible in the 1972 aerial, available at (Photo 41-CIN-4). The church first operated out of the "Brick" One-Room school house located at Haslett Rd / Shaftsburg Rd. In 1893, 0.5 acres were donated to the church by G.W.Rodman. The church was built and dedicated on November 24, 1893. A basement and addition were later added to the church in 1952.This building was dedicated in 1968. The first adition was added in 1974 and the "Family Life Center" addition was dedicated on July 25, 1999.
