I own this farm now (2018). It has been reduced to 3 acres from the original 80. From 1975 to 1995 the farm was operated by the Morrison family. The children and grandchildren of John Morrison (deceased) lease the surrounding 77 acres to a local farmer. Prior to the Morrisons, the farm was owned by the Smith family. Wellington Smith purchased the farm in 1911 (as nearly as can be determined). It was taken over by his son, Roy Smith when Wellington was killed in a car accident in 1960. After Roy died from Chicken Pox, the farm was taken over by Lester Smith who operated it until 1975 when it was sold to John Morrison. The farm is virtually unchanged since this 1970 photo.
