This home is on Barber Creek Ave. First house south of 20 Mile Rd on the east side of the road. It was owned when this photo was taken by Edward and Judy Mortensen and still is today. Several years ago they replaced the house with a new one. In the late 1960"s Richard Groenke owned this home. Richard and his brother Arthur had a worm farm there in the fields to the left of the house as you look at the picture. Myself and many of the neighborhood kids "picked" worms here through the summer. It was a great way for us to make some serious money growing up. Good times and great memories here for us all!
