Photo 9-SKE-24

I grew up in this house. My parents bought it in 1975 and lived there until 2010. My older brother lives there now. This picture was taken the year my younger brother and I decided to quit mowing the back half of the yard. The house was originally built as Barney School and then used by the American Legion for a few years before we moved in. Dad raised the roof on the face side and did many improvements to the house over the years. Just a month before my parents moved out a wind storm toppled the two maple trees nearest Homerich. I had forgotten the lilac bushes near the driveway, those were removed not long after this picture was taken.
