This was Michigan Avenue Middle School or MAMS for short. This is currently the location of the Howell post office.
before it was a middle school it was K through 12, high school on the left, lower grades on the right. Lots of memories there.
Worked there from 1979 through 1981 as a teacher aide. Loved my work with the children. Started driving a bus in 1981, and still worked at the new MAMS on my down time. I helped put the library back together at the new MAMS. Never a dull moment there.
I attended 7th and 8th grade in this old high school. I graduated in 1975.So, that would be 1970-71? Loved walking through town going to and from school.
Spent 5th 6th and 7th grades here, Loved this old school. so much history inside that building. I graduated in 1982 and I remember feeling so sad that they were tearing down part of my childhood.
