Clarence and Florence Stier's Farm
My sisters inlaws owned this farm in Waldenburg Macomb MI
Now a strip mall shopping area. Spent many days there. All enjoyable. Fantastic family. A Centenial farm beginning with Heinrich Stier then Louis Stier bought it from Heinrich's widow.
Also bought his Eiheim inlaws farm adjacent to Stier's and began a hardware store on the corner 22 Mile & Romeo Plank Rds.Included a post office. 1st portion of the hardware was a dance hall moved to the hardware lot. Then came a house from across the street.The next pahse was the lean to addn which was enclosed. Lastly the Lean to was modernized as an apartment for the new owner Carl Stier ,grandson of Louis. Much more details about the business and the farm as well as Waldenburg.
