This was the farm I grew up on in the 1940's. The house is bigger, and there are many more out buildings. The old windmill between the house and garage or "shed" as we called it is gone. We had a hugh Elm tree in the yard that died from Dutch Elm disease. We had a great swing in that tree.

This is the farm that my husband and I own. My husband has lived in this house his entire life...55 yrs. We got married in 1982 and moved into the farm house. His parents built a house just down the road the year before that. We are still living here and still milking Holstein dairy cows. Quite a bit of remodeling has been done over the years. The old corn crib is gone and replaced with a calf barn...along with other changes too numerous to mention! :) we have raised a family of three here and now our Grandchildren are also enjoying the farm life!
